Maximum funds available 50% of salary pro-rata (industrial minimum award rate or certified workplace agreement)

$4,000 for Host Company (digital media only) towards hardware and software purchases, licenses, etc, if required

The Professional Development Assessment Panel will meet approx 9 weeks after the intern deadline to consider your application
Overview We'll provide funding to host companies with a substantial track record to engage an intern for a significant professional development opportunity with the possibility of ongoing employment
Who is it for? Host Companies:

Victorian based companies that can offer a significant professional development opportunity to an intern

Interns:
Film & TV - Producers, directors, writers, story editors or script editors who have some professional experience
Digital Media - Emerging practitioners including 3D modelers, compositors, FX and programmers


On a case by case basis Film Victoria will consider internship positions for film and television roles where the placement clearly addresses an identified skills gap. In these instances the host company applicant must be able to demonstrate the company's ability to offer on-going employment, as well as the skills benefits of offering a longer-term placement (as opposed to a Film Victoria Crew Attachment).
