PIAF/RLAF Committee
Film Victoria considers applications for two funds - the Production Investment Attraction Fund (PIAF) and Regional Victoria Film Location Attraction Fund (RLAF). The PIAF/RLAF Committee meets as required. Applications are considered and a response provided to the Producers within four weeks from the date of application. Members of the PIAF/RLAF Committee consist of:

Fiction Development Assessment Panel
Assessment of Fiction Development applications are made by the Fiction Development Assessment Panel. The Panel will not make public its reasons for funding decisions. The decision of the Panel with respect to any application is absolute and final and not subject to appeal. Film Victoria may commission an external assessment of a project seeking funding to assist the Panel in its consideration of an application. Panel members assess projects on the criteria of quality, innovation and marketability. Members of the Panel include:

- Investment Manager(s)
- Manager, Script Development
Factual Development Assessment Panel
Assessment of Factual Development applications are made by the Factual Development Assessment Panel. The Panel will not make public its reasons for funding decisions. The decision of the Panel with respect to any application is absolute and final and not subject to appeal. Film Victoria may commission an external assessment of a project seeking funding to assist the Panel in its consideration of an application. Panel members assess projects on the criteria of quality, innovation and marketability. Members of the Panel include:

Professional Development Assessment Panel
Assessment of Internships, International Festival Support and International Business Support applications are made by the Professional Development Assessment Panel, comprising at least three of the following, including the relevant Manager:
- CEO Film Victoria (Chairperson)
- General Manager, Industry Development & Investment
- Investment Manager(s)
- Manager, Script Development
- Factual Development Manager
- Professional Development Officer.
The Panel will not make public its reasons for funding decisions. The decision of the Panel with respect to any application is absolute and final and not subject to appeal. Panel members assess projects on the criteria of quality, innovation and marketability.
Industry & Audience Development Assessment Panel
Assessment of Industry & Audience Development applications are made by the Industry & Audience Development Assessment Panel, comprising at least three of the following, including the relevant Officer:
- CEO Film Victoria (Chairperson)
- General Manager, Industry Development & Investment
- Investment Manager(s)
- Digital Media Manager
- Industry & Audience Development Officer
The Panel will not make public its reasons for funding decisions. The decision of the Panel with respect to any application is absolute and final and not subject to appeal. Panel members assess projects on the criteria of quality, innovation and industry & audience development.
Film Victoria Evaluation and Advisory Committee (Film Victoria EAC)
The Film Victoria Evaluation & Advisory Committee (Film Victoria EAC) consists of representatives drawn from the Victorian film, television and digital media industry, and is chaired by a member of the Film Victoria Board. The Committee will evaluate and assess applications for Production Investment for Film, Television and Digital Media. Applications are assessed on the criteria of quality, innovation and marketability.
Film Victoria EAC meetings will take place bi-monthly two working days prior to a Film Victoria Board meeting. Decisions will be relayed to applicants immediately following the Film Victoria Board meeting. Film Victoria will not make public its reasons for funding decisions. The decision of Film Victoria with respect to any application is absolute and final and not subject to appeal.

Lizzette Atkins
Lizzette Atkins worked in film distribution, acquisitions and exhibition for over 15 years before becoming an independent producer in 2001. She formed Circe Films Pty Ltd with Beth Frey in 2003 and their films have since won numerous awards. Films recently completed include the 2x1 hour series Do Not Resuscitate. The feature film Night and the documentary series Wedding Sari Showdown will be completed in 2007.
Tony Ayres
Tony Ayres is the writer/director of the feature film The Home Song Stories which will premiere at the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival in February. Previously he directed the feature film Walking On Water, which won the Teddy Award at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival and many other awards. Tony has written and/or directed several successful short films and documentaries and is a director of Big and Little Films Pty Ltd.
Gillian Carr
Gillian Carr, Executive Producer, spent 15 years working in television in the United Kingdom before moving to Australia in December 2000 and setting up her production company Moody Street Kids. During her 10 years as Children's Commissioner for UK broadcaster GMTV, Gillian worked as a hands on Executive Producer on over a hundred hours a year of children's programming, including the Live Saturday Morning Disney block. Gillian has also worked on all genres of production including live programming, magazine, documentary, feature, current affairs and drama. g2g, a digital animated series for 'tween' girls is currently in production for Channel 9 and Sumo Mouse, an animated series for boys is due to commence production in May 2007.
Roger LeMesurier
Roger Le Mesurier has worked in the Film and Television Production Industry for 36 years. Together with Roger Simpson he ran Simpson Le Mesurier Films for 25 years. The company also had a joint venture with the Beyond Group for 12 years. His credits as a Producer include Sword of Honour, Nancy Wake, Snowy, Halifax fp, Stingers, Dogwoman, Something in the Air, Answered by Fire, and numerous others.
Alison Nisselle
Alison Nisselle has worked in the industry for 35 years, as writer, story editor and producer. She trained as a news reporter with the Herald Sun, then moved into drama with Crawford Productions. She has written over 300 hours of television, including series, telemovies and mini-series, and both writes and script edits feature films.

IDI Credit Committee
This Committee consists of representatives from the Victorian financial sector and is chaired by a representative from the Board of Film Victoria. The credit committee receives applications from the Cash Flow Facility program. The IDI Credit Committee meets as required.

Digital Media Assessment Panel
The Digital Media Assessment Panel is an internal panel comprising Film Victoria staff and external representatives from the Digital Media industry. The proposed composition of the panel is as follows:

Tony Lay
Tony Lay studied Industrial Design at RMIT, before beginning his career in advertising. He co-founded Iron Monkey Studios in 2003. Iron Monkey is a key developer for EA Mobile and the company has been transitioning into console development. It's project Darken Light won the best unsigned game at the Australian Games development Conference in 2006.
Travis Plane
Travis Plane is currently Marketing Director at THQ with responsibility for their marketing efforts in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, China and South East Asia. Prior to THQ, he held senior marketing positions at Sony Computer Entertainment Australia and Nickelodeon Australia.
Stuart Johnston
Stuart is one of Australia's most respected online consultants. He has over ten years experience advising many of Australia's largest corporations on how to leverage and optimise their online channels for growth and profitability. Stuart's expertise lies in helping companies integrate their online and organisational strategies to maximize efficiency, customer satisfaction and return on investment.
Andrew Davies
Andrew has worked professionally in the creative and interactive industry for 11 years. He is co-director with Michael Amos of Studio Moshi, a creative studio focused on original character-driven animation and game development. He is co-creator and producer of Studio Moshi's kids focused entertainment.
Domenic Carosa
Domenic is founder and CEO of digital media investment company Dominet Digital Corporation Pty Ltd. Prior to this he co-founded destra Corporation in 1993, when he was in his late teens and then listed it on the Australian Stock Exchange in May 2000. Domenic is currently Chairman of the Internet Industry Association, Chairman of the IIA Digital Music Taskforce and has won numerous young achiever awards.
Paul Baiguerra
Paul has worked as a Director for the last 15 years. He founded the production/post-production company Catfish and was an EP on the world first multi-platform comedy/drama Forget the Rules. Paul set up PABA Media in October 2008 to work with business and advertising agencies to develop social media/content strategies as well as produce content for on-line and off-line delivery.
Jason Hill
Jason is one of Australia's most respected videogame journalists, winning Best Gaming Journalist at the 2007 Sun Microsystems IT Journalism Awards. A veteran in the industry, he has chronicled gaming's rise into mainstream entertainment and reviewed thousands of games across all popular formats since 1992 for a wide variety of Australian newspapers and magazines.
Michael Padden
Michael is currently General Manager for BigPond Mobile Network with responsibility for the overall mobile content experience, audience, usage, programming and commercialisation of the BigPond mobile portal. He most recently lead BigPond's initiatives to change the commercial framework of the mobile business to a media model.
