Series Proof of Concept
This program provides funding to companies, headed by experienced producers, to produce material to support their highly developed series proposal. The intended series must be an adult or children's drama or narrative comedy series designed for television or digital media broadcast. Series may be long-form (i.e. episode lengths over 15 minutes) or short-form (i.e. episode lengths under 15 minutes) and may be live action or animation. All series must have received an indication of interest from a broadcaster.
Production Investment
We recognise that we can provide minor investment in original, marketable, quality film, television and digital media productions that can attract audiences in Australia and around the world. Through this we aim to broaden the scope and viability of productions that will ultimately lead to a sustainable Victorian industry capable of long term growth.
The Production Investment program has three strands, each with their own set of guidelines and application form:
Production Investment for Feature Film, Television, Online and Mobile Phone Projects Ineligible for the Producer Offset
Production Investment for Games
Cash Flow Facility Programs
Film Victoria provides strategic leadership and assistance to the film, television and digital media industry of Victoria to encourage innovation and the creation of new projects of high quality that are of cultural and economic benefit to Victoria.
Through the newly revised Cash Flow Facility program, Film Victoria provides secured loans to enable production.
