$178m Screen Industry Strategy Announced!

Minister Gavin Jennings has launched "Our Vision on Screen" - a 5 year strategic blueprint designed to drive greater content, connect with audiences, encourag innovation across platforms and supporting Victorian screen businesses.

The Australian Copyright Council (ACC) has published a practical guide for anyone responsible for getting copyright clearances. It will prove useful for people whose main role is seeking permissions, as well as those working on or producing short films, plays, publications or similar projects.

Scheduled to debut on Channel Seven and HBO in 2010, THE PACIFIC was filmed on location in Melbourne with the assistance of Film Victoria, and was Australia's biggest production for 2008.

SECRETS AND LIVES - Submission Guidelines Now Available!

SBS and Film Victoria co-present a new Factual television production funding stream, the 'Secrets and Lives' initiative. This will see up to 18 x 1/2 hours of commissioned television programming emanating from Victorian producers to be broadcast during 2009 and 2010.
