It’s another big week coming up for local productions on the ABC! Doco KANGROO MOB screens Tuesday at 8.30pm and two new series begin with WOODLEY on Wednesday at 8pm and MISS FISHER’S MURDER MYSTERIES on Friday at 8.30pm.
We supported 360 Degree Films’ KANGROO MOB thorough Production Investment and Cross Platform Development funding. It’s an intimate look at the kangaroos taking over the suburbs of Canberra and the team of ecologists following their every move. KANGAROO MOB is a highly entertaining look at what happens when habitat runs out and kangaroos and humans are forced to co-exist.

WOODLEY is an eight part half hour visual comedy about a man who is as close as you will ever get to being a 40 year old child. While there is an innocence and charm to the man, and his heart is always in the right place, you can also understand that living with him would require the patience of a saint. It was produced by Bucket Tree and supported thorough our Production Investment funding.

MISS FISHER’S MURDER MYSTERIES is a thirteen part one hour murder mystery series based on the novels of Australian author Kerry Greenwood.  It follows lady sleuth, Miss Fisher as she sashays through the back lanes and jazz clubs of late 1920’s Melbourne, fighting injustice with her pearl handled pistol and her dagger sharp wit. Leaving a trail of admirers in her wake, the thoroughly modern heroine makes sure she enjoys every moment of her lucky life. Produced by Every Cloud Productions, we supported it thorough our RLAF, Production Investment and Fiction Television Co-funding strands.
