Screen Business

Demand for our Production Investment support has significantly increased over the past 12 months. This is great news for the industry, because it means local film and TV production is thriving, but this increased demand also places pressure on our overall funding.

To help us meet this demand and ensure production activity continues in Victoria we’ve reprioritised some of our Screen Business program funding to Production. Therefore, the following strands will not be offered in 2011/12:

  • Slate (Repeat Applicants)
  • Established Producer Support

While we acknowledge the value of these programs and their importance to producers, our priority must be to support producers who have developed and financed their projects and are ready to move into production.

From time to time, we’re able to offer support for special initiatives for Victorian screen businesses. Stay informed of these initiatives by subscribing to our eNews. You can subscribe to eNews here.
